AUC Module: An Introduction to Navigating AUC Guidelines

Each Priority Clinical Area has an associated guideline and the AUC Portal guides the user through the steps of setting the context for accessing a guideline by selecting the Priority Clinical Area and the Advanced Imaging Service. 

The AUC Portal provides the user with two possible starting points, or Start Modes, for accessing a guideline. One is to start with the selection of the Priority Clinical Area (PCA), and the other is to start with the selection of the Advanced Imaging Service by its Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code, which is also referred to as the All Guidelines mode.

You can start in either mode and switch between the two. You can also set either as your default in the Settings module and your administrator can set one or the other as your organization's default.
