AUC Module: Review and Submit Your Order

  • updated 3 yrs ago

Once you have performed the AUC Guideline validation in the interactive user interface and you confirm your order, the system displays a screen that allows you to review your consultation result before submitting it.

Summary Details

The consultation summary includes the following information:

  • Validation outcome
  • Patient details
  • Information about the requested Advanced Imaging Order
  • Billing details
  • Decision logs
  • Information about the AUC Guideline used for the validation

Review this information and provide details in the mandatory fields, which are identified with an asterisk.

  • Note: The Requested By dropdown menu will only list those users connected to you who have an NPI or users connected to you who have been given a proxy delegation by someone with an NPI. Proxy delegation is performed in the Settings module.

Once you have completed your review and provided all required information, click Submit to finalize the AUC consultation. If you are not a member of an organization in the system, you will not be able to submit a consultation and must click Close to close the screen. Your consultation is not removed, however. Once you are associated with an organization, you can go to the History module, select the consultation, review the details, and complete the submission.

When your review has been successfully submitted, the system displays the UCI. You can also click the Download (PDF) button to download a PDF copy of the consultation result.

Funds Check

When you click Submit the portal checks the CDSM consultation capacity that has been acquired by or is available from a sponsor to your organization. If there is sufficient consultation capacity, the system deducts one credit from the consultation capacity and displays the UCI.

If there is not enough capacity, the system displays an error message.

By default, the user's organization pays for AUC consultations. However, in some cases a billing organization or imaging center can sponsor the consultation. If your consultation is not fully submitted because of a lack of credits, you do not have to repeat it. Once there are funds available you can go to your History module, select the consultation, review the details, and complete the submission.
