As of LogicNets v8+, the part editor tab navigation is "sticky". This means that whichever tab is active for the node you are inspecting or editing, the same tab is activate when you switch to another node. This allows you to quickly make the same update to multiple nodes without having to navigate to the right tab each time. 

In v8.4, you can disable this feature in the System Configuration package.
