Copy, Paste, and Rename a Logicnet

  • updated 3 yrs ago

When you use the copy function you create a physical copy of a logicnet. The original item stays the same and you can change the copy to look or perform differently. You can paste the copy in any of your LogicNets folders.

Copy a Logicnet

1. To create a copy of a logicnet click the logicnet you want to copy and click the Copy icon at the top of the Projects pane.

Paste a Logicnet

2. In the Projects pane click on the folder into which you want to copy the logicnet.
3. Click the Paste icon at the top of the Projects pane.

Note: When you copy a logicnet the version that you paste into another folder the logicnet is automatically named "copy_[original name]". This indicates that you have created a completely separate and independent copy of the selected logicnet.

Rename a Logicnet

You can change the name of a logicnet by first highlighting the logicnet to change, then choosing the Rename icon in the Project Pane.

A popup box appears where you can edit or remove the current name and enter a new one.

Logicnet names may only contain characters a-z A-Z 0-9 . _ - and / characters.
