Scheduler Monitor Overview

  • updated 1 yr ago

Description

The LogicNets Scheduler Monitor allows you to schedule and monitor cron jobs--repetitive tasks scheduled to run automatically at a specified time and date and configurable time interval. The system can run these cron jobs in the background and can include batch processing.

Click here or click on the Cron Job Scheduler breadcrumb above for a list of more detailed articles on how to configure this LogicNets feature.

Use

In the Designer you create logicnets that contain the actions that make up the cron job, and then you use the Scheduler Monitor to schedule the cron job or multiple jobs. With the Schedule Monitor you can set the date and time the cron job runs and review the status of each cron job that has run.

Used With: The Scheduler Monitor is standard functionality in the LogicNets platform that can be used with any logicnet that contains actions the system must take (cron job logicnets). Cron job logicnets are system-facing steps that detail actions for the system to perform.

Using the Scheduler Monitor

The Scheduler Monitor is a packaged function that you connect to cron job logicnets you create.

Be sure to review the Scheduling Options article to understand how to configure the scheduler for a repeating process (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.)
